HIGHLY SATURATED NITRILE (HSN)

QUICK DESCRIPTION:

This is a Hydrogenated Nitrile compound which provides the material with improved resistance to heat, ozone and aging.  Similar applications to Nitrile but with improved mechanical properties and media resistance.  Also referred to as HSN.

MAIN FEATURES:

-excellent for many oilfield and automotive applications

-wider temperature range than standard Nitrile

-commonly used with petroleum oils and C02

-we stock 80 and 90 durometer

-available in metric and imperial sizing

-styles available regular, quad ring and square cut

TECH SPECS:

-temperature range -40*C (-40*F) to 160*C (320*F)

-H2S resistance up to 10%

-water and steam resistance to 149*C (300*F)

-low temperature compounds available to -54*C (-65*F)

Do not use with chlorinated hydrocarbons, polar solvents or strong acids
